Commemorative

Dates

Many customers commission necklaces commemorating the date of a special event such as a:

  • Christening
  • Confirmation
  • Graduation
  • First job
  • Special birthday
  • Day you first met your partner
  • Day of becoming engaged
  • Birth of a child (given to mother!)
  • Leaving job (one strand representing the date of arrival and the other the date of departure)

Places

We are sometimes asked to make a necklace commemorating the country:

  • where you were born
  • where you first met your partner
  • where you spent your honey moon
  • where you had a really special holiday

This necklace includes garnets to represent Alaska and it was given to a gap year student to commemorate a special expedition in that country.

People

Option 1:

Why not wear a necklace in memory of a loved one? For example incorporating their date of their birthday, their birthstone, or their favourite colours.

Option 2:

Alternatively we make mourning necklaces with black being the predominant colour.
